Pretty Little Liars - Sara Shepard Honestly not sure why I read it, since I pretty much looked at it and thought, "I'll probably hate this." Well, I didn't HATE it, but it didn't give me any more than I expected. Pretty much every cliché known to realistic teenage literature was in it: My sister's boyfriend is cheating on her -- with ME! I'm having an affair with my teacher! I'm bulimic! I'm secretly a lesbian! My dad is cheating on my mom and I'm the only one who knows! Blah blah blah. Basically it's about a bunch of girls with no distinct personalities, running around doing slutty things and feeling bad for themselves. And on every page we have to know exactly what brand of clothes they're wearing, down to their socks -- ummm, like I give a crap?Well, at least it was mildly entertaining and had a few interesting twists. I might read the sequel if I ever happen to stumble across it, but I'm not going out of my way to find it.
