I've read several books about writing lately, and this was by far the best. I'd been told that it was the best book about writing, and as far as I know it's true! I love how Stephen King wrote both about his life and his writing. It really showed how life affects writing and how writing effects life. It felt a lot more personal and beautiful than a lot of writing books that just focus on the grammar/structure/etc. You can tell King really loves what he does and he describes the writing process perfectly. Highly recommended for any writer, of any age, of any genre. :] You need to read this!
