My Sister's Keeper - Jodi Picoult I really liked this book. It was really well-written, the characters were thought out extremely well, and the plot was sadly believable. There are only two small reasons why I give it three stars instead of five. One is that, in general, I just feel awful after reading a sad book; it makes me feel like life sucks. The second reason: everyone praises this book for its "shocking" ending, but I personally found the twist at the end sort of random and unnecessary. It came out of nowhere, and didn't really serve a purpose--besides being ironic. It felt to me like the author just didn't know how to end the story. But I still enjoyed this book, and I would suggest it to anyone who wants a good (but utterly depressing) read.
